Sam Clifton - Founder & Teacher
Sam trained locally as a child and then went onto to train for 3 years at Performers College under the direction of Brian Rogers.

Sam’s stage credits include performances at The London Palladium & Hackney Empire with The Brian Rogers Dancers, Pre match entertainment at Wembley Stadium, Trade shows for Mazda Cars and many appearances in Cabaret at top venues throughout London including BBC’s Children in need!

Sam is a fully qualified Ballet, Tap & Modern teacher and founded the school 15 years ago. As well as teaching at Dance Connection Sam is currently training to become an examiner and is now an approved ISTD tutor and coaches fellow teachers in the new ISTD Qualifications.

Sam also heads up part of the Creative Partnership Team at Langtree School and feeds dance into local primary schools as part of the national curriculum.

 
Anna Jackman - Teacher
Anna began her training locally and appeared in 3 professional panto’s & a production of Joseph. At the age of 11 Anna then entered full time training at Bush Davies. She then went on to Arts Educational at Tring followed by 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom where she gained all her teaching qualifications, made several appearances at The Epsom Playhouse and worked as a dancer doing pre-match entertainment.

Anna holds Licentiate status with the ISTD and is currently studying to become an approved tutor & examiner.

Anna has been working at the school for 14 years and alongside Sam has built Dance Connection to what it is today!

 
Leah Davies - Teacher
Leah Trained as a child with Dance Connection and then went on to train for 3 years at The Margaret Howard Theatre College where she trained as both a performer and teacher.

As well as teaching syllabus work at Dance Connection, Leah also teaches Street jazz, Musical Theatre & Singing!

Leah is currently working hard outside of Dance Connection to further her teaching qualifications and also finds time to work as a professional singer, choreographer and teach at local youth projects!

 
Cleo Twinam
Cleo works at Woodcote & East Oxford branches of DC

Cleo graduated from Redroofs Theatre School with a Diploma in Theatre Arts and has much experience in Radio, TV & Stage! Cleo has also just gained her Foundation in Dance Instruction so is now a qualified dance teacher.

 
Nikki Morris
Nikki trained at DC from the age of 3 until 18, during this time Nikki was a key member of DC and was part of our Senior A Squad for many years. Nikki also worked as a teaching assistant during this time. Nikki has now come onboard as our newest member off staff much to the delight of our pupils and Nikki will now embark on her teacher training.
 
Aimee Palethorpe
Aimee works alongside Anna on a Saturday morning at The Castle Leisure Centre. Aimee graduated for The Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training College and is a fully qualified ISTD teacher who also works for several other schools in the area.
